Showing False Positive Syntax Errors

bug-report

#1

Hi Team,

One issue we are facing in the editor is that, we are getting false positive syntax errors. Please find the attached screenshot for reference.

But when we run the test, the test runs successfully without any errors.

Thanks,
Saravanan

Hi Saravanan,

thanks for the report. I’d like to ask you a few questions that may help us to identify the issue:

  1. Does this appear every time/almost every time you use the editor, or does it happen only in some reproducible situations (e.g. only on the first file, only on a new project, etc), or is it seemingly random and you can’t put your finger on how to reproduce it?
  2. Are you using Webtestit from behind a proxy?
  3. What Operating system are you using Webtestit on?

We will file a bug for this issue and get back to you, in case we need more information.

Regards,
Matthias

Hi Matthias,

Please find my comments below,

  1. Does this appear every time/almost every time you use the editor, or does it happen only in some reproducible situations (e.g. only on the first file, only on a new project, etc), or is it seemingly random and you can’t put your finger on how to reproduce it? – It is happening every time we open a new project as well as in the existing project (the demo project downloaded from Webtestit)
  2. Are you using Webtestit from behind a proxy? – No
  3. What Operating system are you using Webtestit on? – (Windows 7 Enterprise)

Thanks,
Saravanan

Meanwhile the entire lsp support has had tremendous overhauls so this should be resolved and still not reproducible
